We are delighted to announce that the IMPRINT network has received additional funding from UKRI to run a number of activities between September 2022 and March 2023!

Through this funding, we will be able to hold an in-person meeting for Network members, tentatively scheduled for February 2023 in the UK. We are still in the early stages of event preparation and will get back to you with the exact dates, location, and other details shortly. As the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to hold the last IMPRINT meeting virtually, we are especially grateful for this opportunity to convene with many of you again in person. Travel bursaries for IMPRINT members will be provided, with priority given to members from LMICs.

The upcoming meeting will focus on key outputs of IMPRINT and reflect on the current state of maternal immunisation research, where a lot has happened in the last few years. If you are a part of the IMPRINT Network and cannot wait until February to engage more with these topics, we wish to remind you about the toolkit section on the IMPRINT intranet, which includes summaries of all ten public engagement projects that were carried out in the context of IMPRINT as well as a detailed case studies of four of them.

Thanks to the additional funding, IMPRINT will also offer support conference attendance and training opportunities, including four places for the African Advanced Vaccinology course (Afro-ADVAC) on 17-26 April 2023 in South Africa. More information about these opportunities will be shared in due course and during the 2023 in-person meeting. Following the successful INMIS meeting in Vancouver, Canada, in 2019, where IMPRINT was a major stakeholder, IMPRINT will also commit funds to support the next International Neonatal and Maternal Immunisation (INMIS) meeting

Stay tuned for more updates from the IMPRINT Network.
